I am anxiously awaiting the warm weather to stay so that I can get my little pond running out front! I have never had an actual pond like this so it will be a learning experience! There was already a hole there when we moved in where the previous tenants had a hard pond fixture and pulled it out. We haven't decided on specifics yet, the only thing I know for sure is I intend to make it my Goldfishes new home for the summer

I've wanted to have a large fish pond in my front yard for 35 years! Maybe this is the year that I'll start digging and make at least a modest-sized one. That would be so relaxing.

Here is what my pond looks like so far! There is a hole somewhere below where I want my water to be... the water level keeps dropping to a certain point.. Ive looked for holes everywhere but behind the big rock, so thats where it has to be. Its raining now or I would be out there moving that rock and looking... But that will have to wait..It looks nice so far though

Thanks ! I had thought about that too before we moved here. I would do it lol if you have a basement you could get one of those black pond inserts and just sit it on the floor and use it that way.. I knew a woman who did that, hers wasn't well taken care of (too many fish not enough plants or filtration or air for that matter) but if you did it properly it would look really nice!

I was thinking of something like using a black tub of some sort n either having it in my bedroom or living room. It may still happen, we will see
