We have new Platy babies!! I was cleaning the livebearer tank yesterday and when I was putting water back in I noticed a baby swimming around so I nabbed it and the silver and orange female. I put the baby in the 10 gal fry tank and momma in a breeder tank hanging inside the fry 10 Here are some pics and a link to a video of them...dont mind my narration..Im not use to talking for my videos..I use to add music to them but I am trying to start into a more documentary/informational style rather than blasting music to it If you like the video please subscribe to my channel Im trying to add more videos all the time now. Hahaha... well, you gotta be patient! Before you know it, the whole tank is full of them. And now it seems just a few but once they grow up the tank will be too small! But I do understand your enthusiasm! But whatever kind of fish it concerns, all fry are interesting to watch .

I know haha I just cant help my impatience But I am controlling it. I know that in a short while I am going to have my hands full of babies to take care of. But only a few new fry in a 20 gal tank is SO boring... On a brighter note though I can see them now They have decided that indeed there is nothing big and scary in their tank and it is OK to come out and be seen by me. We lost a couple a few days after being born so we only have about 5 in there. Two are really orange already and two are a lighter yellowish color now. The other is the smaller one from a single premature drop, he/she is doing very well though. Just a little smaller than its cousins.
