Main Ecosystem: Delta Temperature: 64°F - 82°F Hardness: 10 dH - 30 dH pH: 7.5 - 8.5 Diet: Herbivore Temperament: Peaceful Care: Mollies like a bit of salt in their water, about 1 tablespoon per 10 gals. Feed with vegetable-based flakes and algae. Don't clean algae off back glass as Mollies will eat algae and it contributes to a varied diet. They like a planted tank with tank mates of a similar temperament. Potential Size: Male: 3.9" Female: 3.9" Water Region: All Activity: Diurnal Gender: Sex can be determined by the male's modified anal fin (gonopodium). Breeding: Mollies are livebearers. Although they are harder to breed than Swordtails and Guppies their breeding is still prolific. Babies will feed on zucchini cut into cubes.
